This is a static example but realistically you’d want to script this to dynamically appear next to any content on your site - images, music, or videos.

u=url-encoded url of content (required) - This can be the url to a music file, picture, or video.

&t=Elephant

t=display name (required) - This will be used as the display name for the content.

&pn=9545551234

pn=phone number (optional) - Make sure it is url encoded in case they enter spaces.

&verizon=1

verizon=0 for no or 1 for yes (optional) - We need to know if it is Verizon or not. If you don’t have this information, don’t worry about it, we’ll ask for it before we send it.

MyxerMagic is a feature of Myxer, so of course there’s no charge for using it. (This is the internet after all - we make it up on volume.) Just take 30 seconds to install MyxerMagic and start taking your favorite images with you wherever you go.

Because it uses the Myxer website, MyxerMagic gives you powerful image manipulation tools - as well as automatic “best fit” for your phone’s display.

Note that we’ve only tested the extensions on computers running Windows XP. The Firefox extension may very well work for you if you use Firefox on another operating system, but we honestly haven’t had the time to verify that. What with counting our money and all.

MyxerMagic works with modern versions of Internet Explorer running on Windows XP. We’ve tested with IE6 and the new IE7.

1. Download the installer package from the link above.
2. On your desktop, find and double-click the icon myxermagic_ie_extensions.msi.
3. A Welcome to Setup for MyxerMagic Web Extension screen will be displayed.
4. Click Next. Click Next again on the second screen.
5. An Installation Complete screen will be displayed when finished, click Close to exit.

6. NOTE: You must close ALL browser windows for the web extension to be completely installed.

(By the way, if you’re still using Internet Explorer, you might want to give Firefox a whirl. It’s the browser of choice for most of us here at Myxer. Browse the web faster. Get Firefox with Google Toolbar )

MyxerMagic works with the Firefox browser, too. (In fact, it’s really our first love). We’ve tested with versions 1.5 and the new 2.0.

1. Download the installer from the link above.
2. A Software Installation window will appear.
3. Click Install Now. If an Extension window appears, close this window.

4. NOTE: You must close all browser windows for the web extension to be completely installed.

Uninstalling MyxerMagic for Internet Explorer

1. Select Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

2. Select the Change or Remove Programs tab
3. Select MyxerMagic Web Extension from the list of applications
4. Click Remove. A pop up box appears asking to confirm the removal
5. Click Yes to complete the browser extension removal.
6. Close all browser windows for the changes to take effect.

Uninstalling MyxerMagic For Firefox

1. Open the Firefox browser.
2. For versions 1.5 select Tools > Extensions from the top menu. For versions 2.0 select Tools > Add-ons from the top menu.
3. Select MyxerMagic Web Extension from the list of extensions
4. Click Uninstall. A pop up box appears asking to confirm the removal
5. Click Ok to complete the browser extension removal.
6. Close all browser windows for the changes to take effect.
