You should have received an order confirmation email titled ‘Your MP3 purchase from Myxer, Inc.’. There is a link at the bottom of the email that you can click on to download the mp3 again.

Look for:    If you were not able to complete your downloads, they are available here.

Just click on ‘available here’.

Try downloading your content directly from our mobile website.

  1. Browse to m.myxer.com from your phone’s browser
  2. Sign in (note: passwords are case-sensitive)
  3. Follow the My Stuff link and click on the item to start downloading it to your phone.

Note: If you get an error message when you try to connect to the mobile website, it may indicate that you don’t have an internet access plan on your phone. Please contact your carrier to purchase an internet access plan.

If you are a Sprint user and are getting the following message, “The shortcode you are attempting to use has expired and is no longer a valid short code. Msg 1051″ it means that texting to a short-code has been blocked by Sprint.
This is true for all short-codes, not just 69937 (which is Myxer). You can confirm this by texting HELP to 46645 (which is Google) and you should get the same message.

You will need to contact Sprint and ask them to allow texting to short-codes from your phone, then you should be good to go.

  1. Browse to m.myxer.com from your phone’s browser
  2. Search for the content you want or sign-in and click the My Stuff link
  3. Click on the item you want to start downloading it directly to your phone.

Note: Not all phones and carriers allow you to download content from the mobile web. If you get an error message when you try to connect to the mobile website or when you try to download content, please try sideloading your content (no mobile internet required) or contact your carrier for more info.

We send the messages as soon as you request them, but sometimes it can take a while for the carriers to deliver them.

Here are some things you can try:

Verizon Wireless, Cricket, US Cellular, and Centennial Wireless Users:

  1. Make sure that you have a camera phone and that PIX messaging enabled
  2. Go to the Phone Details page in your account settings and verify that your Wireless Carrier is set correctly.
  3. Try resending your item from the resend page.

All Other Users:

Try downloading your content directly from our mobile website.

  1. Browse to m.myxer.com from your phone’s browser
  2. Sign in using your PIN or Web password (note: passwords are case-sensitive)
  3. Follow the Recent Downloads link and click on the item to start downloading it to your phone.

Note: If you get an error message when you try to connect to the mobile website, it may indicate that you don’t have an internet access plan on your phone. Please contact your carrier to purchase an internet access plan.

  1. Open the message you receive from us
  2. Click Menu
  3. Select Save Media
  4. “OK” (the ringtone will be saved to your Media Gallery under Tones)

Note: These are the instructions for the typical Audiovox phone. Your phone model may vary.

Unfortunately, it seems that you can’t follow links directly with a lot of Kyocera phones. You’ll have to:

  1. Open the message you receive from us
  2. Write down the link
  3. Open the browser on your phone
  4. Type in the link
  5. Select Go To URL or Connect (This will connect you to the Myxer server)*
  6. Scroll down and Select Download Ringtone

Note: These are the instructions for the typical Kyocera phone. Your phone model may vary.

  1. Open the message
  2. Click “Options”
  3. Select “Extract”
  4. Select “Webpage”
  5. Select the link (This will connect you to the Myxer server)*
  6. Click “Link”
  7. Select “Save”
  8. Select “Set As Ringtone”

Verizon Wireless Users:

  1. Open the PIX message (the song may start to play)
  2. Click on “Options” (right soft key)
  3. Select “Save Ringtone” if available, else “Save Sound”
  4. Re-name the sound (if you want) and select “Ok”

Some LG phones do not allow you to use set the sound as a ringtone directly from the download. If this applies to your phone then continue with these steps:

  1. Click “Menu”
  2. Select “Settings and Tools”
  3. Select a ring option and select a sound from the list.

  1. Open the message
  2. Click “Menu” (middle button)
  3. Select “Go To” (this will connect you to the Myxer server)*
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and Select “Download Ringtone”
  5. Click “Store” (right button)
  6. Select “Apply as Ringtone” (the ringtone will be saved in “Multi Media” under “Sounds” )

Verizon Wireless Users:

  1. Open the PIX message (the song may start to play)

If you selected “Save Sound”, then continue below

  1. Click “Menu”
  2. Scroll to “Get it Now”
  3. Select Tunes & Tones
  4. Select the downloaded song (if may be stored in the My Sounds or My Ringtones folder)
  5. Click on Options
  6. Select “Set As”

  1. Open the message
  2. Click “Options”
  3. Select “Use detail” or “Find”
  4. Select “Web address”
  5. Highlight the link and click on “Go to” (this will connect you to the Myxer server)*
  6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and Select “Download Ringtone”
  7. Click “Options”
  8. Select “Open”
  9. Select “Save” (the ringtone will be saved in “Media Gallery” )
